The test lane will service our own fleet of over 100 HGV1 trucks and also MOT vehicles from within our group. Our commercial fuel oil tanker fleet from Apollo Fuels and tankers from Road Tankers Northern will be tested at the new facility.
High standards of testing will performed on HGV trucks and trailers including Suspension, Steering Mechanism, Transmission, Brake System Components, Sideguards, Rear Under-Run Devices, Bumper Bars, Mirrors and Indirect Vision Devices, Speedometer, Service Brake Control, Service Brake Operation and Steering Mechanisms.
Our large fleet across the Newell Wright Group will ensure daily activity at the Sheffield HGV MOT test lane which is approved and certified by VOSA. We will also be providing a third party service which will allow for commercial HGV truck and trailer testing for external companies.
